Main speaker: Emma Thirkell spoke about insulation options and the need to bring peoples attention to insulation batts and blanketts that posed a health threat and retained moisture. She spoke about better insulation products and systems that were available to suit tropical homes.
It was agreed to form a subgroup to produce a fact sheet on insulation suitable for tropical green buildings for general media release.
