This report is Queensland’s first comprehensive snapshot of specific residential and commercial building and construction industry needs over 10 years, presenting an analysis and skills demand profile of seven Queensland regions based on their own economic, social and demographic data. Construction Skills Queensland Research and Information Manager John Cosgrove will present the findings of the research including regional profiles, regional capital expenditure growth scenarios, skills demand data and qualitative business research, providing insights into a range of technological, socio‐economic and structural challenges facing the industry now, and over the coming decade.
