Cairns Regional Council adopts Sustainable Building Design

On the 12th October 2011, the Cairns Regional Council adopted a Sustainable Building Design Policy and endorsed the use of a Sustainable Building Design Checklist. These documents were discussed at a TGBN meeting earlier in the year, and a number of TGBN members have been consulted during the development of these documents. Thanks to everyone who contributed, your input is greatly appreciated and has assisted in making the design framework as effective as possible. The Sustainable Design Checklist is attached for your information.
