Presentation to the Cairns Regional Council

Regulations governing the placement of air-conditioning units and systems require work to 'design-out' energy guzzling, noisy and unsightly problems. The TGBN in conjunction with Project Air conditioning’s Keiren O'Brien presented the problems and recommendations to the Urban Design Advisory Board on the 25th September 2009. The presentation is attached to the document deposit area. The TGBN needs to move this issue along with AIRAH the Cairns Regional Council and industry stakeholders.

A presentation was given to the Urban Design Advisory Board at the Cairns Regional Council on the 25th September 2009. It is attached. Also attached is the AIRAH Best Practice Guidelines and A guide to buying and installing air-conditioning published by the Brisbane City Council
